“All-natural pest defense & feather care in one ready-to-use blend.”
Why Spring Hollow Acres Dust Bath is Different
Not all dust baths are created equal. Most products on the market are made from a single ingredient like volcanic ash, hydrated lime, or sand. While these can help with basic bathing behavior, they don’t actively protect your flock from parasites—or support skin and feather health—like our handcrafted blend does.
Our Promise
Your flock deserves more than just a bath—they deserve a natural spa treatment that:
Cleans & Conditions Feathers
Fights Mites, Lice & Parasites Naturally
Supports Healthy Skin
Every bag is made in small batches at Spring Hollow Acres, using the same trusted recipe we give to our own birds.

How to Use Your Spring Hollow Acres Dust Bath Blend
Choose a dusting area:
Pick a dry, sheltered spot where your chickens already like to dust bathe—under a coop overhang, in a run corner, or in a shallow container like an old tire, pan, or tote.Prepare the base:
Fill the dusting area with your choice of dry soil, play sand, or a mix of both. This gives your flock volume to dig and roll in.Add the Dust Bath Blend:
For a small flock (1–5 hens): Mix 2-3 cups of our blend into about 4-5 gallons of your base material.
For larger flocks (6+ hens): Mix 4–6 cups into 6–8 gallons of base material.
Adjust as needed—add more blend for extra pest protection during mite season.
Mix thoroughly:
Stir the blend evenly into your base material so it’s well-distributed. This ensures every dust bath your birds take helps protect their skin and feathers.Refresh regularly:
Replace the whole bath every few months for freshness.
Pro Tip
For targeted mite and lice control, sprinkle 1–2 handfuls directly into nesting boxes or coop corners. Always provide good ventilation when using indoors.
